Decal Renderer provides a quick and easy way to turn RaycastHits or Collisions into dynamic bullet holes, blood splatters, or scuff marks that look great when they're needed and disappear when they're not.

  • Integrating into your project is as simple as a function call.
  • Make your decals stick around forever, disappear after a set length of time, disappear when a given object (say, your camera) moves out of range, or when there are a certain number of decals.
  • Decals automatically avoid appearing on edges.
  • Decals can be made to automatically track with moving objects.
  • Different shaders can be used for either flat decals, self-illuminated decals, or even gorgeous bump-mapped decals.
